New: Calendar Sync 📆 🔄
We get it! You’re too busy to tell us when your not busy. Now, you can effortlessly sync your work or personal Google calendars to Leaf. We’ll handle it from there, making it a breeze for others to find the perfect time to connect with you. Whether it's scheduling that elusive coffee chat or planning a large group getogether, this feature streamlines calendar management and offers real-time availability, ensuring you never miss a beat. Wanna hang, but the plan locations is too far, too expensive, or too “bro-ee”? It’s time to let your voice be heard. We are introducing a new feature that empowers all plan attendees. Now, when someone else initiates a plan, you have the ability to effortlessly suggest locations. No more back-and-forth messages or endless group chats to decide on the different spot. With this enhancement, you can seamlessly contribute your idea, making the planning process a collaborative and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Embrace this new level of flexibility and engagement in planning.
Update: Home Page Design 🏠
Introducing our revamped home page design in this latest update! We've given it a slight makeover, ensuring a clutter-free and intuitive experience. One standout addition is the inclusion of profile QR codes. When tapping your profile photo (top left), you gain quick access to share your profile. Say goodbye 👋 to tedious exchanges of contact information – it's now just a scan away.
Additionally, we've taken note of your feedback since launch and streamlined our menu options for enhanced navigation. With this update, we're bringing you a more polished, user-centric interface that caters to your evolving needs.
Update: Trip Notes 📝
We're thrilled to introduce an enhancement to our trip planning feature. Now, trip creators can seamlessly integrate text-based notes alongside their meticulously curated plans and selected locations. This addition offers an invaluable layer of customization and personalization, allowing creators to share insider tips, special instructions, photos, or heartfelt recommendations with their fellow travelers. Whether it's a hidden gem to explore or a must-try local dish, these notes provide an extra level of depth to your trip itinerary. With this update, planning a trip becomes an even more immersive and personalized experience, ensuring that every moment is seamlessly planned.
Update: Share Moments With Details 🤳🏻
Relive the magic of your shared experiences with ease. The day after a plan, Leaf will compile and display shared plan photos, beautifully framed with customizable templates. These templates effortlessly incorporate the plan’s title, location, and date, providing a beautiful snapshot of the memorable occasion. Attendees can now instantly share these curated memories to their social media accounts, spreading the joy and capturing the essence of the event in a single post.Get ready to turn moments into memories and let the world be a part of your journey!
Other Updates
Hide Group Plan Suggestions 🙈- If you are a part of a group, you might be receiving group plan suggestions. Not Interested? You can now remove group plan suggestions, letting the group know that you are not interested.
Save the Date: Mark Interested 🗳️ - Wanna send out some “feelers” to gauge who’s interested in an upcoming outing? Send out a Save the Date and capture who’s interested (or not). Received a Save the Date? You can now let the sender now if you’re interested (or not).
Line breaks in Plan Chat 🗒️ - We’ve beautified the plan chat (a little). You can now press “enter” and segment those long messages into neat blocks of texts.
Add up to 10 locations to any plan ➕📍- We’ve increase the number of locations allowed per plan from 4 to 10. Now you can hang out after the street lights come on :).
Here’s what’s scheduled for October:
Chat Message Suggestions - We are leveraging AI. Yes, AI to suggest messages to send in the plan chat, saving you time so you can get ready to be there on time.
Split the Bill: Upload the receipt - Took a photo of the receipt and need to split the bill after everyone has left? No worries! Leaf + users will be able to upload the bill from their photos (even long after the plan has ended).
Themes - Need some unique plan ideas? We’ve developed over 50 unique themes to spice up your local plans. These themes can be added to your plans at the tap of a button. Themes include dress-up ideas or challenges (e.g. no-phone use policy, “who ordered the best meal?”, or “you order for me and I order for you”, and more)
Personal Note Add-on 📝 - Leaf allows you to add private notes about each location you visited or saved. Now you will have the option to share those notes with other plan attendees to help them make decisions about things like specials, what to order, or times to go.
